I interviewed Marcus near middle of Nobody's Hero Part 2

Age: 31 yrs

It seems alot has happened since we last spoke..

I heard from Imogen that you two got hitched!
Seems a bit quick. A bit of a whirlwind.

Yeah maybe but when you know you know... And I wasn't going to let her slip out of my hands.
She doesnt see it, is a mixture of blind and naive but she's a keeper and if I didnt bag her someone else would get in there.

Sounds a bit possessive?

Guess maybe a little but Imi is too independant to let me get away with that sort of behaviour.
Was well and truly put in my place in regards to that..
I only know snippets of her past but it's obviously had an effect.

So how is married life?

Well the honeymoon is well and truly over! I barely see her with Rent but its what she has to do..
Things will hopefully settle down once Rent is over.. Though she'll probably be needing to work in Londo alot.
We're looking into logistics. I'm hopefully getting a promotion soon, and possibly take on a position in Kent which will make things better..
Buy a nice house and make it a home.. Maybe kids at some point.. I've not broached that with her yet though..

What do you think of Rob and his new lass?

He seems smitten. Hey I've been there.. The early weeks/months with Imi were a whirlwind!
Never hought he'd settle down but am happy for him. Think its had an effect on his and Imi's friendship....
It's knocked her a bit... If I'm 100% honest I'm happy he's found someone cause it makes the 3 into a 4..
and am not really the jealous type.. OK maybe a little.. but their relationship has always been unique..
A lot of history, and couldnt really compete with that.. But she told me straight when we got together hat I had to accept him in her life or leave..
So I put up and shut up.. and he is a great guy and a good mate most of the time..
Though we have had some falling outs over Imi and there reckless behaviour

What sort of fallings out?

Most recent was them going for a ride upto Newcastle. Imi was pillion. They got here in 45 minutes.. The journey takes about 1 and half hours if really push it to the limits.. So hey must have gone at rediculous speeds.. I was not impressed! But trying to get Imi to behave is impossible! Just like I've told her loads to slow down or will make herself ill, but she wont listen..Once she has a goal there is no stopping her.. But I guess I can be the same a bit.

Well I hope you two manage to find a way to make it all work out and get that happy ending..

I’ve Known Imogen for a long time and seen her grow from a timid teen
to a blossoming confident young women..

If anyone deserves that happy ending its her.
I know I dont have to say this but look after her.
