Introducing Nobodys Hero and the Wildflower Series
Nobodys Hero
The story of Robert Regan. Nobody's Hero is a tale of friendship and love based on a true story.
But how best do you explain such a friendship? A friendship like no other?
We could hold the roughest of diamonds in our hands and toss it aside as if a useless pebble. In life, we sometimes find people like those rough diamonds, who don’t recognise and know their own worth.
A person who would risk their own life to save a friend.
As Rob and Imogen's friendship grows and he saves her, does he also save himself?
Rob is a biker, a lost, selfless soul fighting personal demons. Because of his health, he feels like he is living on borrowed time, facing an unknown future. He feels inadequate, undervalued, unloved and just wants to leave his mark on the world. Follow his ups and downs, and the betrayals he faced.
As Imogen’s life changes, finding love, causing their dynamic to change,
while also coinciding with a period of time when Rob's life becomes even more filled with fear, loss and uncertainty, Can he find someone to save him? Someone to love him, and if he does, will he feel deserving enough to accept it?
Will he find the love and happy ending he deserves?
Can love truly conquer all?
The Wildflower Series
A powerful and emotionally charged series following the life of Imogen-Kelsie Herrington.
Running parallel to Nobody’s Hero, the Wildflower series tells Imogen’s story in her own voice — raw, intimate, and unfiltered.
Imogen is a complex young woman: fierce, independent, and determined on the surface, yet beneath it all, she carries the weight of a past that refuses to let go. While studying Dance & Movement Studies and English at university, she fights to build a future for herself — funding her studies, chasing purpose, and trying to outrun the shadows behind her.
But healing is never that simple.
Through moments of reflection, Imogen is forced to look back over the experiences that shaped her — the trauma, the self-doubt, the patterns she struggles to break. Her journey is one of survival, but more than that, it is a search for identity, self-worth, and something she has never truly felt: belonging.
At the heart of her story is Rob — her anchor, her best friend, and the one person who sees beyond her defences.
Their connection becomes both a lifeline and a mirror, forcing Imogen to confront the truth of who she is and who she could become.
As the series unfolds, we follow Imogen through love and loss, through the echoes of abuse and the pull of destructive cycles. Time and again, she finds herself standing at the edge — torn between giving up and choosing to stay.
The Wildflower series is not just a story of pain — it is a story of resilience.
Of learning that survival is not the same as living.
Understanding that healing is not linear.
And of discovering that sometimes, belonging isn’t about finding a place —
it’s about finding the courage to accept yourself.
Can Imogen break free from her past, rewrite her story, and finally find where she truly belongs?
How the series connect
The Wildflower Series and Nobody’s Hero tell the same story through two different perspectives,
while also exploring the characters’ individual journeys in greater depth.
Becoming Wildflower begins partway through Nobody’s Hero, with Imogen reflecting on her past.
Revisiting key moments, exploring her history of abuse and bullying, and uncovering the experiences that shaped her.
Through this, we see her friendship with Rob from her perspective, revealing deeper emotional layers and untold truths.
Because of this, the two series are closely intertwined, offering readers multiple ways to experience the story.
For those who prefer, Wildflower: Becoming His can be omitted, as the key plot points are covered within Nobody’s Hero.
These themes are then expanded further in Wildflower: Belonging – Part One,
which continues Imogen’s journey beyond the events of Nobody’s Hero.
